Introduction

Finally, the sequel to Discworld has arrived. The first episode was one of the best adventure games ever made, so you can imagine how much I awaited this game. Fortunately; it's everything (and more) I hoped it would be. They corrected the mistakes (including the programming errors) made in the first part and made an incredible interactive cartoon full of hilarious gags.

Story

Our story begins on a typical evening in Ankh-Morpork. Rincewind and his friend -- the librarian are going home after drinking a little bit more than they could take (standing up). Meanwhile, the Assassins' Guild is doing their usual business (tonight it's planting a bomb). The only problem is, that Rincewind happens to find the bomb and, being the 'professional' he is, he tries to dismantle it. Naturally, he fails. Unfortunately, 'someone' else is near by when the explosion takes place and that someone is Death. He gets thrown off his horse and hits so hard he gets amnesia. It's up to Rincewind to bring his memory back or take over his job.

Opinion

There's really no point in trying to describe this game. You have to see it to believe it. It's absolutely perfect. The graphics, the music and especially the jokes are brilliant. The only thing that's changed for the worse compared to the first episode is the difficulty. The manual says that the game is easier than the first Discworld game but I had no idea it would be this easy (I finished it in about two days). But other than that, it's really perfect.

Every true adventure lover has to have this game.
