Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge

This game is the sequel to one of the funniest adventure games ever made -- The Secret Of Monkey Island. If you liked it, you're sure to like this episode too. If you didn't then skip this game.

Story

Guybrush is sitting around a campfire telling his story of destroying LeChuck for the umpteenth time. Of course everybody is sick of it by now, so he finally decides that he needs to get a new story. Finding the legendary lost treasure of Big Whoop seems to be the ideal choice. This proves to be a bit more difficult than he first thought though, particularly with the resurrected LeChuck on his tail.

Opinion

This game wasn't exactly easy to solve (not that the first episode was). I have to admit it, it took me four months to finish it (altough there was a two month break, when I didn't get to play it at all). Some of the ideas were so crazy that I just didn't think of them. For example: after picking up a real live but stunned monkey, you need to use him as a 'monkey wrench', or one puzzle where I really got stuck was having to get my map from that huge pile of maps that the bird collected (if you played the game you know what I'm talking about). Anyway, it took me quite some time to finally finish it, but it was well worth it. I don't think there's much more to be said about this. This is a classic game, so if you don't have it yet just go out and buy it. You won't be disappointed.
