Introduction Guybrush Beepgood...sorry, I mean Threepwood is back! Much has happened since the last time we saw him, the most apparent of these changes being that since the last episode Guybrush has gone full 3D. Many (myself included) have debated the necessity of this "advancement" but they say that times are changing and the future is in 3D. Unfortunately we can't live in the past. (Or so I'm told.) Story Our hero and his love, Elaine are just returning from their honeymoon expecting the usual celebratory welcoming party but getting a big fat nothing instead. Nobody's waiting for them in the harbor and a quick checking around reveals disturbing facts. Somebody's buying up all the islands of the Caribbean one by one and clearing them of pirates. Of course, the governor could stop him but Elaine has been gone so long (about two weeks) that they've declared her dead and started a new election. The only candidate is a man called Charles L. Charles (sound familiar?) who's already started taking over the governor's mansion by tearing it down. Our hero and his new wife are obviously not too happy about him destroying their home but Elaine's got her hands full with the new election and getting declared alive again so there's only man who can stop him. And so the famous Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate, rumored to be 7 feet tall and breathing fire, sets out on this mundane task which will, inevitably, cause him more grief than he imagined. Opinion I hate repeating myself, so I won't. This game is absolutely unbelievable so I won't waste time trying to describe it. The graphics you can see for yourselves but the music and story, you'll just have to take my word it, are brilliant as well. The only thing worth mentioning are the controls. LucasArts sticked to the method of control they introduced in Grim Fandango which is a fully keyboard driven system. You can't use a mouse to move Guybrush around the screen or execute any actions, which some people might find inconvenient or uncomfortable. On the other hand, some people prefer keyboard control because of its quickness. Whatever the case, you shouldn't let a small thing like that stop you from playing this fabulous game.
