The Full Version of Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is Now on Steam

The full version of Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is finally here. It's available on Steam and currently being offered at 20% off for a limited time.

The 1.0 release was initially scheduled for May 15. However, the developer made the decision to move the date to June 2. In a post, the studio shared that the launch date was moved to take advantage of a window that wasn't previously possible.

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is a modern tactical RPG that offers players, among others, gridless movement, environmental cover, specialized overwatch, and initiative manipulation. The game has players take on different jobs as a way to build reputation. However, it's not going to be that simple since they have to make sure that they won't get too much heat. What this means is that before taking on any heists for example, players need to trade favors or bribe the right individuals. It's getting whatever advantage possible.

New Origin Story

In Cyber Knights: Flashpoint, origins stories are how players got their unique Cyber Knight computer. They get to know where their "quantum rider" came from, how to afford it, and how to get such a powerful upgrade.

This latest version has "Forgotten Promises," which is a second origin story that matches Syndicate Debts. This storyline has players take on the role of a leader of a street-level merc band who has been kidnapped. Things get rather dicey when the team tries a desperate rescue attempt.

New Features

With 1.0 now available, it means that players can enjoy new features. One of these are the new game character options. Players now have options in each slot and the possible team combinations just went up.

Then there's the new map which is the Militarized Waystation. This one is used in a very unique way in the story missions for Forgotten Promises. The new map has some truly cool and unique pathing along with a centralized bunker that allows for some awesome heisting scenarios. Militarized Waystation can mix with objectives like Scav, Hardened Target, Exfiltrate VIP, Escort VIP, and Q-Gap Spike, to name a few.
